-

The State Election Commission of North Macedonia reported that until 17:00 hours, 38.78% of the voters in the Electoral Roll cast their ballots. The biggest voter turnout was recorded in the fourth Electoral Unit, with 43.99% of the voters going to the polls in this period.

North Macedonia is organizing snap parliamentary elections today. The polling stations opened at 7:00 hours and will close at 21:00 hours. The time for casting the ballots has been prolonged for two hours, due to the safety measures against the coronavirus, and the voters have to wear protective masks and keep distance between each other.

The second biggest voter turnout until 17:00 hours was recorded in the third Electoral Unit (the territory of North Macedonia is divided into six electoral units, which correspond closely to the regional arrangement), with 43.85% of the voters casting their votes. The lowest turnout was recorded in the sixth Electoral Unit, with only 29.6% of the voters in the Electoral Roll going to the polls.

When talking about the municipalities, the highest voter turnout until 17 hours is in Novaci, with 60.05% of the voters voting.
