Through a statement, DUI denied all accusations stated at today’s press conference of SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, and stressed that “accusations that are just a part of his announcements” are concerned.
“The fact that the conversation between the president of the party and president of the branch of Chair referring to the sale of party property in Skopje (for which we will present evidence) is presented as a crime talks about the true purpose of the press conference” reads the statement.
DUI stressed that it stand behind the view to publish all tapped conversations pertaining to the party, without spinning them in the process.
The statement also reads that, if guilt is proven through a process, DUI would not protect anyone, but also, if it is proven that the accusations were based on tendentious taking out of context of private conversations between officials, it should also be publicly stated.
