From today the clinic for digestive surgery will continue to work. For a few days, doctors and medical staff did not perform operations after a patient attacked a surgeon with a gun and wounded the doctor.
During those days, they only operated in circumstances considered as emergencies.
Doctors have claimed that the incident which had shaken the whole Macedonian medical profession, was not only an attack on their colleague who was wounded, but an attack on their profession and their dignity, and they no longer feel safe in their place of work.
