The number of tourists in April increased by 17.6 percent in comparison with last year

According to data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in April 2015 amounted to 52,298, while the number of nights spent amounted to 103,727. The number of tourists in April 2015, compared to April 2014, increased by 17.6 percent, and the number of nights spent increased by 10.3 percent.

The number of domestic tourists in April 2015, compared to April 2014, decreased by 5.2 percent, while the number of foreign tourists increased by 30.9 percent. The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in April 2015, compared to April 2014, decreased by 5.1 percent, while the number of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 22.2 percent.

In the period from January to April 2015, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 8.7 percent: the number of domestic tourists decreased by 7.5 percent, while that of foreign tourists increased by 19.8 percent.

In the period from January to April 2015, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 2.8 percent: the number of domestic tourists decreased by 10.2 percent, while that of foreign tourists increased by 13.7 percent.
