The European Commission today called on political parties in Macedonia to take the remaining steps necessary, to fully implement the Przhino Agreement.

“We understand the parties are close to an agreement. We encourage all parties to make the necessary remaining steps in view of  implementing  the commitments of the June/July agreement. This is also relevant in the context  of the upcoming Progress Report”, said Maja Kocijancic, spokeswoman for EU Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn.

Ms Kocijancic did not specify when the report would be released, but said in it will be found the implementation of the agreement.

“The Commission will report on implementation of the political agreement and all EU-related reforms, in particular the Urgent Reform Priorities which we presented in June, in the upcoming Report. The Progress Report will be published soon”, said Maja Kocijancic.
