Prime Minister and President of SDSM, Zoran Zaev, accepted an invitation for a TV debate from the president of VMRO-DPMNE, Kristijan Mickoski.
This was announced by the government yesterday, shortly after Miskoski sent the challenge to Zaev after the party’s Central Committee session.
“Prime Minister Zoran Zaev is ready for a TV debate at any time with Hristijan Mickoski, because the basis of democracy is openness and readiness to face political opponents”, stated Mile Bosnjakovski, the government spokesman for MIA.
Miskovski has called on Zaev to face him on television and discuss the name negotiations after a meeting of the Central Committee of the party.
“Let’s discuss the issue so we can inform the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia regarding how he negotiates and what he is negotiating. But let’s discuss all those fouls he has made in the field of economics, the lack of reforms, in education, in health, lets discuss all those wrong policies that have been going on this past one year. Here’s the opportunity for citizens to see what kind of political headset are in power, and of course we will be able to hear, see and find out finally that lesson that he has been he spoke of long ago so the citizens can hear it, and perhaps we will learn something”, said Miskovski.
He announced that VMRO-DPMNE will be holding a large protest on June 2, in Skopje, outside the Government of the Republic of Macedonia.
