The SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, responding to journalists’ questions in the program “Nova Debata” on “Nova TV” announced that when the SDSM will come to power, they will set-up a dial above the ‘Arch of Triumph’ and whenever the Agency for seized property will sell a property, the dial will show how much of the stolen money has been returned.
According to the SDSM leader, there is no chance that a large coalition can be made for the elections.
“It is true that some things have to be agreed by consensus, but that does not mean a larger Government. The issue over the name needs to be decided by all the political parties, but it does not need a joint government. Strong opposition and democratic behaviour in Government is the solution to every problem, and even the name dispute. We believe that every step should be encouraged. NATO membership is a huge encouragement for investors. Negotiations with the European Union, Chapters 23 and 24 – that means the normalization of the country. The International Community is convinced that if Gruevski remained in power for another 20 years, he will not solve the name dispute. His nationalistic behaviour brought him to where he is now, and for him, there is no cing back from that. If Gruevski tomorrow finds himself in the opposition, we will call them and inform them about everything. Transparently and publicly is the way to raise the issue and build a strategy for further issues”, said Zaev.
The opposition leader said that new real jobs in the private sector will help solve the catastrophic situation the Pension Fund and the Health Fund is in currently.
“The situation is catastrophic in PIOM (The Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of Macedonia). But there is money to solve this problem. And that is jobs that will generate funds and this way, it will be possible for both funds to be filled. If the Governments investments were successful, it would have never come to this”, said Zaev.
