Zaev: After December 11 we will have a general re-election of judges

SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, today announced a general re-election of judges in Macedonia after the elections on December 11 and a full breakup of the “the link between the judiciary and the criminal government led by Nikola Gruevski”. Zaev said that “after December 11, he will not allow a single judge to condemn anymore innocent people, or anymore rigged trials and work for criminals”.

“Criminals should be where they belong – before the face of justice. The face of Justice will be independent, accountable, professional and there will an impartial judicial system in Macedonia. In courts today there are professionals who do their job honestly and therefore suffer pressure and threats. Their sacrifice today will be their advantage in the future”, said Zaev.

The SDSM leader said that the election of judges will be on criteria that has already yielded results in several countries. Additionally, said Zaev, a dial will placed on the Gate “Macedonia”, which will show how every penny is returned to the citizens and will be a reminder of “that such criminal evil will never be repeated”.

“There will be control over the government and justice in Macedonia. There will be life for everybody in Macedonia”, concluded Zaev.
