Where are our intermediaries: Hahn in Jordan, then Lebanon, Kukan in Uganda, Vanhoutte and Howitt in Brussels

-

The EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations , Johannes Hahn, is expected to visit Macedonia in mid-February, but his office had not yet announced the official date.

He is now in Amman, Jordan, where he will meet with Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, where they will discuss the need to deepen cooperation in dealing with common challenges, especially with the refugee crisis.

Working groups are not expected to meet until Tuesday because mediator Peter Vanhoutte is in Brussels for negotiations.

MEPs Eduard Kukan, Ivo Vajgl and Richard Howitt, who brokered the Agreement for the political crisis, in the coming days will review the political situation in Macedonia in Brussels. It is possible that Hahn may attend the meeting, but so far there has been no official confirmation of this.

The meeting of the MEPs has no official date, but is expected to happen before the arrival of Hahn in Macedonia.

Yesterday, Eduard Kukan was in Uganda, where they are to hold elections on February 18.

Richard Howitt  was last seen in European Parliament, where, according to his Twitter account he payed tribute to the Holocaust Remembrance Day which was yesterday. On Tuesday, he met with Husam Zomlot, the Director of International Relations Committee of Palestine.

MEP Ivo Vajgl was last seen on January 25 where he spoke in Parliament about the export of live animals outside the EU.
