VMRO-DPMNE reacted to Zoran Zaev’s press conference for amnesty in Hague cases. They claim that SDSM continues conducting their scenario to destabilize Macedonia.
“His role is to be a fire iron of foreign centers which aim to disturb the stability of Macedonia and undermine its international reputation. Zoran Zaev continues to manipulate with created and fake materials, which he puts in the context for which he hopes to cause confusion among citizens. With these press conferences, he personally confirms who was monitored and that the monitoring was done by outsiders under the patronage of foreign center. Let us remind you that Zoran Zaev is the same man who barely a year ago said SDSM does not become to be a patriotic party,” reads the statement.
Zoran Zaev, reads the statement, is the president of the party which in 1994 granted 150,000 citizenships just to win the elections.
“Zoran Zaev is president of SDSM, the same party that created ethnic conflict in 1997 in Gostivar and Tetovo only to hide the devaluation of the currency. Zoran Zaev is president of SDSM, structure which, as it is becoming more obvious, in 2001 participated in the creation of such a scenario similar to what we see today. And finally, Zoran Zaev is president of the party that brought the worst law system in the Republic of Macedonia, the Law on territorial division, and then mined the referendum on it. In all these years, Zoran Zaev was silent and loyal supporter of harmful policies implemented by his party,” reads the statement.
Let us remind the public, reads the reaction, that the Law on amnesty was enacted in 2002, and for it, among others, voted Branko Crvenkovski, Radmila Shekerinska, Jani Makraduli and Nikola Popovski as well.
“Additionally, this topic had several-week public discussion that is remembered by the entire Macedonian public. The introduction of Macedonia in the same old scenarios is the only thing that SDSM knowns how to do. They want to get to power only by creating conflict and destabilization. They did in the past, and we see that they are doing it now. Citizens are wise and know how to recognize destructive behaviors like the one of SDSM and Zaev. They have punished it before, and they will do so on the next elections as well,” responds VMRO-DPMNE after the published number 17 “bomb” today.
