VMRO-DPMNE: The law on bilingualism which was voted today in Parliament is unconstitutional

-

The law on bilingualism, which was voted today by the parliamentary majority, is unconstitutional, was today’s reaction from VMRO-DPMNE. The party added that “with this act, the government has shown that the highest legal act, the Constitution of the state, for them, are only a dead words on paper.”

“This law was passed by deception, that is, the false placement of a European flag, therefore abusing the procedures for passing laws of importance for the country’s integration into the EU. The authorities should bear the responsibility for the manipulation against the citizens. The law on bilingualism does not contribute to the real promotion of rights in the Albanian community in Macedonia, on the contrary, it deepens the differences and goes to the detriment of the homogeneity of Macedonian society”, the statement said.

The party says that “bilingualism will create chaos in the legal circle.”
