VMRO-DPMNE supports competent authorities to conduct a new investigation into the case of the tragic death of journalist Nikola Mladenov.
“We have no doubt that it was acted responsibly in this case, but for the purpose of full confidence in the procedures and institutions, we support a new investigation under the supervision of the media, represented by associations, people from the family, presented to the experts – as always in the past, we stand for a legal resolution. Today’s press conference of Zoran Zaev, on which he again played cut and created materials, is misuse of the tragic death of a man, just as he did in the case of the resolved murder of Martin Neshkovski,” reads a statement of the party.
Again, reads the statement, VMRO-DPMNE will not allow psychosis which Zoran Zaev wants to impose on the public to be accepted by citizens. VMRO-DPMNE supports a new investigation within the positive laws and institutions.
“Let us remind that SDSM and their media and journalists spread a thousand different conspiracy theories about this tragic event for two years now and, based on those theories, they built positions for political benefit for themselves and their party. For two years, they accused us, and today they themselves proved that they have lied and used the death of a person for political purposes. It speaks for them. Let it be on them. At the same time, I urge citizens to listen to the recordings for the second time and conclude for themselves and see lies in the introductions that Zoran Zaev orally makes before releasing the recordings. I invite them to listen to materials Zaev plays and not rely on titles and recounted stories of their portals, which aim to manipulate the feelings of the citizens and present things in the wrong context,” reads the statement.
