Dojran Lake freezes

The lowest air temperature this morning was measured in Berovo, where -17 degrees Celsius were registered. In Gevgelija were measured -8, while a temperature of -7 degrees Celsius was measured in Dojran. Due to the low temperature, Dojran Lake froze.
In other cities, the following temperatures were measured: -15 in Tetovo, -14 in Kumanovo and Mavrovo, -13 in Bitola and Kriva Palanka, -12 in Skopje – Petrovec and Prilep, -11 in Skopje – Zajchev Rid, Demir Kapija and Lazaropole, -10 in Shtip, Ohrid, Kavadarci, Strumica, Vinica and Krushevo, -9 in Pretor, -8 in Gevgelija, and -6 degrees Celsius in Dojran.
According to NHS, for today it is expected sunny and relatively cold weather, with light to moderate cloudiness and slight wind, mostly from the south. The maximum temperature will be in the range of -4 to 4 degrees Celsius.
Similar weather with temperatures of up to 1 degree Celsius is expected in Skopje.
