The whole city of Kichevo is without power supply. Multiple defects in the high-voltage grid were caused.
– From what I saw on the field and from talking to the people of EVN and MEPSO, I can tell you that everything necessary is done to normalize the situation – said Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Peshevski, who, along with the General Director of JSC MEPSO Sinisha Spasov, today visited Kichevo region, which was hit by heavy rainfall.
Peshevski added that correction will take place in two stages, first an alternative power supply will be provided from two sides of the 35 kilowatt lines.
By this evening, it expected one half of the city to get electricity from the first alternative power supply, while the second half should get electricity couple of hours later. We expect to provide a power supply of 110 kilowatt network, thus completely solving the problem of power supply to the city from the side of Sopotnica, said Peshevski, report the media.
He announced that the damage from the breakdown of the transmission line from Kichevo to Oslomej will be repaired in the next two days.
– In the following days, similar situations in other parts of the state can be expected, but we will be ready with all the competent authorities to respond and remove the problems as soon as possible – said Peshevski.
