Three police officers were injured in the clash this afternoon on the Macedonian-Greek border, where a police officers and a group of migrants clashed violently when the migrants tried to cross the border, the Interior Ministry confirmed for “Meta”.
The police officers were immediately transferred to the medical center in Gevgelija.
Earlier, police threw tear gas to clear a group of refugees protesting at the fence in Idomeni.
Greek media reported that some of the refugees have respiratory problems after inhaling the tear gas during the incident.
