The French Ambassador Christian Thimonier said that they wish the crisis will end quickly so Macedonia can return on the right track, getting closer towards integration into the EU and NATO.
-We wish the situation to remain calm and in true accordance with all ethnic communities that constitute this country – said Thimonier during the visit of the “Zavar” company.
He stressed that he was informed about President Gjorge Ivanov’s letter, but didn’t want to comment on it because he hadn’t yet addressed the issue to the President of France.
– I know that letter of the President Ivanov was sent to the president of the European Council, the President of USA, the President of Turkey and the General Secretary of NATO. You will understand why I won’t be commenting on a letter that wasn’t sent to the president of the French Republic. That letter will be discussed this Friday by the European Council – said Thimonier.
