The SDSM and their coalition partners have decided to freeze working in Parliament until the Constitutional Court rules on the constitutionality of the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office, said the SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, today at a press conference.
He urged other MPs not to participate in Parliamentary work because they have a responsibility to the citizens and with this act they will show their support for the SPO.
“This is not a complete abandonment of Parliament but just a reminder that all MPs voted for the SPO and everyone should support them and their work. All deadlines have passed, and the citizen’s patience is low. The Constitutional Court should declare an initiative for the SPO as soon as possible. Initiatives submitted by the VMRO-DPMNE are decided in seven days, and for the initiative of the SPO eight months have passed”, said Zaev.
