Stoltenberg arrived at the meeting with Zaev with the government’s Mercedes

NATO’s General Secretary, Jens Stoltenberg arrived at the meeting with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev with the Mercedes that is worth 600.000 euros and for which acquisition at the end of this month the former Prime Minister and leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski and the former Minister of Interior, Gordana Jankuloska will go to a trial.

Stoltenberg is the last in the line of high ranking foreign officials who during their visits to Skopje were driven in the government’s Mercedes which vehicle registration plates read СК 2936 АЦ (SK 2936 AC).

Among the high ranking officials from abroad, the first who used the Mercedes was the former UN’s General Secretary, Ban Ki-Moon, during his visit in July 2012. The “M thing,” as Gruevski used to name the vehicle in the “31st bomb” that was revealed by SDSM in 2015, also the Prime Minister of Bulgaria used the vehicle during his visit on the 1st of August last year when the Agreement for Goog Neighborly relations was signed.

Ont he 19th of October, the Government announced that the Mercedes’ ownership was transferred from MoI into the Service for general and common affairs and that a procedure for its expropriation was started and it will be exchanged for medical equipment.
