Spasovski: The activities for revealing the whereabouts of Grujovski and Boshkovski were a regional effort

-

The activities for locating and arresting the former heads of UBK, Goran Grujovski and Nikola Boshkovski was a “regional effort” and several services took part in, said the Minister of Interior, Oliver SPasovski in an interview for the “30” TV show on “Alsat-M” TV.

-This is an action that was worked on regionally i.e. several more services were included and the intelligence that we had previously have led us to a successful realization of this action. For us as a state, at this moment, is important to provide justice in Macedonia for everyone. From this aspect, it was a key task and goal for MoI to include all available capacities, to locate them where they are through a regional cooperation that we had by providing information for them – said Spasovski in the interview.

Grujovski and Boshkovski were arrested two days ago at the airport in Thessaloniki, when during a passport control it was determined that they have forged Bulgarian passports, and then that there is an international warrant for their arrest by Interpol under the request of the Ministry of Interior of Republic of Macedonia.
