Six VMRO-DPMNE MPs have sent letters to Prime Minister Zaev requesting insight into the agreement with Bulgaria

-

MPs Ilija Dimovski, Nikola Poposki, Trajko Veljanoski, Antonio Miloshoski, Emil Dimitriev and Vlatko Gjorchev, addressed a letter, to Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Dimitrov, and are demanding that the Agreement for good neighborly relations with Bulgaria be transparent and be analyzed by MPs from the opposition .

The coordinator of one of the ten VMRO-DPMNE’s MP groups, Ilija Dimovski, said that they have done this because the Bulgarian media have passed on information that the content of the Agreement has already been sent to the Bulgarian Parliament for analysis.

“Because we appreciate that this document should be sent to our Parliament in order to avoid all doubts and in order to relieve the concerns of the citizens that has amounted in recent days. They promised to work transparently but so far there has been is none of that. Once again we call upon Prime Minister Zaev to fulfill that in the spirit of transparency. As the opposition, we shall be constructive but we will not accept agreements that will damage our national interests”, said Dimovski who now thinks that the Agreement should be presented behind closed doors or at an open session at the Commission for Foreign Affairs.
