Answering to a question at a press conference, he said that the ministry didn’t change its mind and from the very beginning, when the amendments of the law were announced, it was projected only pensioners to be exempt from paying additional social security, and that the publicly spread information that officials will be exempt from paying were only speculation.
– In all statements we gave from the beginning, we said that only pensioners will be exempt from the law – said Spasov.
When asked whether the document was published by mistake, the minister said that it was a “draft document of the services”.
– You’ve seen some draft document prepared by the services, which responded to some questions, but it was never an official document. The law is clear – said Spasov.
At the joint press conference, Minister Spasov, along with Director of PDIF Amet Dauti and President of the Association of Pensioners Dragi Argirovski, informed about the project for spa-climate recreation of pension beneficiaries.
