Police officers from SOI in Ohrid, with several teams, not only secured the road from Ohrid to Kichevo, but were also active in extraction of stuck vehicles, especially on the section from Botun to Arbinovo.
In this part of the highway, 12 passenger vehicles and seven trucks were snowbound. The extraction of these vehicles with special trucks finishes today.
During yesterday, numerous residents of the villages from Debarca, who, due to their obligations, had to move by foot on the highway to Ohrid, were transported with police vehicles.
From 4 am this morning, the highway Ohrid – Kichevo is passable and traffic for passenger vehicles and mini-buses is allowed, but with mandatory use of winter equipment.
The traffic of heavy trucks is still prohibited for this highway.
Police officers from SOI Ohrid continue to be present on the road and be at the service of drivers and citizens, announced spokesman Stefan Dimoski.
