Last year, the Operative Technical Agency (OTA), for the needs of the adequate bodies in North Macedonia, interposed in 475 new activations of the wiretapping of communications measure and 378 prolongations of this measure, showed OTA’s annual report that was submitted for analysis to the Parliament.
Out of the total number of newly approved communication surveillance measure with the technical assistance from OTA, 321 were by the Interior Ministry and 68 were for the needs of the Public Prosecution.
