The Health Ministry of North Macedonia informs that starting from today, the medical workers will be inoculated with the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as people over the age of 60 and the immunocompromised people. The third dose is administered at least 6 months after the administration of the second dose.
During the past week, the public health organizations were informed that medical workers independent of their age will be elligible for the booster shot in any of the vaccination stations in the country.
The third dose will be administered to people that were vaccinated abroad, as well. They have to present a valid document of receiving two vaccine shots so that they can be evidenced in the My Term national information system.
The third shot can be administered without scheduling a term. The vaccination with the third shot is implemented in all vaccination stations nationwide, where the vaccinations and revaccinations are underway, explained the Health Ministry.
