New uncertainty is creating around the tragedy with the ship “Norman Atlantic”. Citing the Greek Ministry of Maritime, Greek media say that the fate of 40 passengers from the ship is unknown. According to information, the passenger count after the full evacuation of the ship proved that only 433 passengers were rescued and that about 40 persons are missing.
Currently, there is no further information and an investigation to get fast answers to what happened to the passengers is ongoing.
The number of victims is beginning to increase. Citing sources from the Italian rescue services, Italian media report that two new victims were found, bringing the current assumed death toll to seven.
