Metamorphosis and NOVA working together to raise students’ media literacy knowledge

The cooperation will include various joint activities such as a series of lectures as an introduction to journalism, practical workshops with experienced and prominent journalists, as well as publication of the best student articles by one of the Metamorphosis media outlets

The Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society and NOVA International School Skopje launched cooperation for joint raising of the media literacy of the students’ media literacy and raising awareness about the role of digital media today.

To that end, the Principal of NOVA International School Skopje, Ivan Novakovski, and the Executive Director of Metamorphosis Foundation, Bardhyl Jashari, yesterday signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The cooperation will include various joint activities aiming at raising the level of media literacy, sharing knowledge on recognizing disinformation, and familiarizing students with journalism in general, thereby promoting ethical values in the media area.

Metamorphosis has been involved in the work of NOVA through organizing a series of lectures and workshops. The topics include an introduction to journalism, practical workshops with experienced and prominent journalists, and the publication of the best student articles in one of the Metamorphosis media outlets – Meta.mk, Portalb.mk, and Truthmeter and visits to their newsrooms.
