The 2020 budget carries the motto “we are investing in human capital” because the human capital is the most important feature in the economic development of a single country, sad the Minister of Finance Nina Angelovska during the presentation of the draft budget at the plenary session.
-Therefore, for the 2020 draft budget, we have allocated 154 billion denars for health, education and social protection. We want the best doctors and medical personnel to be in public health. We want qualitative future generations and we know that this is a precondition of qualitative education for every child. We want to provide care for all generations. Let there be no children outside of the care system – said Angelovska.
Liljana Kuzmanovska, an MP of the opposition party VMRO-DPMNE said that the budget is social but not developing.
According to her, the budget is populistic and a pre-election marketing asset because it will raise the salaries and pensions.
