A complete withdrawal of the pardons and Ivanov’s resignation were the main conclusion of the Central Committee of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) after last night’s meeting where they analyzed the current political situation in the country.
“The mass pardons from April 12, and now the partial pardons, signed by Ivanov has pushed Macedonia into a more difficult and dramatic political, economical and moral crisis. Partial annulments for the politicians is uncharacteristic in democratic societies and has deeply violated state law and the principles of the rule of law”, said the statement from the LDP party.
Therefore, the Central Committee of the party believes that by dividing the citizens into groups where some receive selective justice where are others receive none, is unacceptable and beyond reason.
