After last evening’s meeting of the top officials in the President’s cabinet, Ivanov’s cabinet issued a statement, which reads that it was determined competent authorities to take all necessary measures and actions to resolve the case, find the perpetrators and punish them.
“On the meeting was exchanged initial information about the attack on the sentry Goshince, where top officials condemned the incident on the northern border of the Republic of Macedonia. At the same time, top officials appeal for responsible behavior of all social factors and the event not to be abused for any purposes,” announced the cabinet of the head of state.
The meeting was attended by Macedonian President, the Speaker of the Assembly, the Prime Minister, the ministers of interior and defense, the Chief of Staff, the Director of Security and Intelligence Agency, the Director of Intelligence Agency and the head of the Military Security and Intelligence at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Macedonia.
The meeting was not attended by representatives of the Albanian partner in the Government.
For the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI), as its spokesman Bujar Osmani stated, “It is a nonexistent meeting because Ivanov is an illegitimate president.”
