The threats by the leader of the SDSM, Zoran Zaev, to press crominal charges is part of the folklore of raising th emoral among their ranks, said Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski following the statement by Zaev that he will press criminal charges once the special prosecutor is elected.
-That is part of the folklore by Zaev, who has a difficult task to keep up the moral in his party in this past period. As you know in the past he spoke of the Government falling in three days. Later he changed that statement and said the Government will fall in 30 days. Then it became 45 days, then 60 and so on. In the meantime he didn’t realize any of his threats. Now since there are many domestically and internationally recognized pollings of the public opinion and estimates by relevant international institutions about the mood of the public regarding the coming elections, it was shown that the people will give their confidence to VMRO-DPMNE- said Gruevski.
Gruevski added that Zaev needs a new story to give some hope to his party’s members. That story is that there will be arrests and charges, thinking that SDSM will get its chance thanks to that.
-The man must hustle, he has to give something to his people to fight and hope there is a chance to get the majority of the votes. This is part of the party folklore to keep the atmosphere up in the party. Let him continue that, while we will continue our projects and realizing our program of helping the people- said Prime Minister Gruevski.
