Macedonian police will use rubber bullets against violent protesters after the model of their European colleagues. Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski assures that the amendments, which will lawfully provide the police with more weapons in dealing with major disruptions of public order, comply with EU, reports “Alsat-M”.
– For details regarding this law, I refer you to the Ministry of Interior. But, what I can confirm is that everything foreseen by the law is consistent with practices in the European Union. Nothing is outside the appropriate practices and laws in the European Union – said Gruevski.
