To reduce air pollution in Macedonia, a law will be passed banning the use of coal in households, warned Deputy Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Jani Makraduli today.
“We will campaign, we will provide subsidies with ecological resources and with increased energy efficiency. To change the coal stoves, I believe that in Parliament we will come to a consensus that the use of coal for heating will be stopped by law,” Makraduli said today at the donor conference where a two-year program by the Macedonian government to reduce air pollution will be presented.
