The VMRO-People’s Party decided to join the right-wing opposition bloc. In the upcoming elections scheduled for December 11, the party will participate with Jove Kekenovski’s FRODEM, Pavle Trajanov’s Democratic Alliance and United for Macedonia lead by Ljube Boskovski “Meta” has learned.
Also, according to the latest information, it has been agreed that bearer of the lists are going to be, Trajanov in the first constituency, Jove Kekenovski in the second constituency, Ljubco Georgievski in the third constituency and Ljube Boskovski in the fifth constituency. We learned that VMRO-NP will get the fourth electoral district, and Nikola Tasev will most likely be the lead candidate.
The decision comes after several days of negotiations between VMRO-NP and the opposition and with the government.
On Tuesday, after a two hours tense session of the Executive Board, VMRO-NP did not manage to come to a decision regarding which coalition the party will join and who they will support for the early parliamentary elections on December 11.
Then members decided to give their party leader, Ljubco Georgievski a few more days, in order to bring a definitive solution.
