I have a great story to tell EU ministers at this hopeful moment for Macedonia, said Macedonian Foriegn Minister, Nikola Dimitrov, in the Estonian capital, Tallinn. The informal meeting of foreign ministers of the member states of the European Union and the candidate countries for EU membership is being held there.
Dimitrov hopes that negotiations for Macedonia’s EU membership can start next year.
“I am here to convince that this is also in the interest of Europe”, said Dimitrov, who was welcomed by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini.
