The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Dimitrov and his Dutch colleague, Bert Koenders, have signed today in Hague a Declaration of partnership and cooperation between the Republic of Macedonia and the Kingdom of Netherlands.
-In a very short time you have shown a great lidership in returning Macedonia on its European road – said Kunders after the signing of the declaration.
The Declaration will have both countries to continue with the promotion of the mutual cooperation in promoting the good governance, the rule of law, the judiciary, the fight against corruption, basic human rights, independent media and social cohesion.
With this Declaration, Macedonia and Netherlands confirm their mutual effort in intensifying the exchange of experiences and to strengthen the cooperation in the defense and security departments in order to raise the level of readiness of Macedonia in order to gain a fully fledged membership into NATO and to face with security challenges such as organized crime, religious extremism and illegal immigration.
