The second leadership meeting between the leaders of SDSM, VMRO-DPMNE, DUI and DPA ended without a concrete agreement.

The next leadership meeting is scheduled for 26th of May, at 1:30 pm, in the same place, in the MPs Club.

Tomorrow SDSM leader Zoran Zaev and VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski will meet in Strasbourg with MEPs’ proposals to resolve the crisis.

After the meeting, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski declined to comment, but said that he will convey the views of the party at the gathering in Skopje.

According to Zaev, there is no progress in the talks and therefore a new date for a following leadership meeting was proposed.

– There is no progress in talks. We demand equality in negotiations and an honest approach. Our position is clear, we demand a transitional government, which can be technical, administrative and political. What we initially want is equality and an honest approach – stated Zaev after the meeting.
DUI leader Ali Ahmeti and DPA leader Menduh Thaci also didn’t want to comment.
