The Metamorphosis Foundation launched its new website – Anti-disinformation Network for the Balkans, Antifisinfo.net.
This website is a vital resource for the public, journalists and policy-makers for revealing foreign malign influence in the Western Balkan by exposing and mapping the flow of disinformation and propaganda originating from external actors throughout the region.
“The Anti-disinformation Network for the Balkans is constantly carrying out detailed and comprehensive fact-checks, encouraging investigative journalism and developing analyses that expose and map disinformation and propaganda, accessible on the website antidisinfo.net in order to help the public, journalists and policy-makers deal with disinformation and misinformation in the region”, reported Metamorphosis Foundation.
The Foundation also added that through the new website, the public will gain access to documentation from the resource database, a rich source of information from the region regarding the flow of disinformation and propaganda.
The Anti-disinformation Network for the Balkans is a joint initiative of six partner-organizations from the region dedicated to promote transparency and accuracy in the media area and integrity.
Antidisinfo.net already provides news, fact-checks, analyses and investigative stories that expose disinformation narratives. In addition, the new website will enable the public access to documentation related to disinformation trends in the Western Balkans.
It also provides information about the partner organizations of the Anti-disinformation Network for the Balkans and their mutual commitment to media integrity. The website is available in four languages: Macedonian, Albanian, English and Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian language.
