Special Public Prosecutor Katica Janeva, violated the Law on Public Prosecutors and the Law on Labour Relations in a brutal and inappropriate way when she dismissed two prosecutors from her team, said President of the Council of Public Prosecutors, Peter Anevski after today’s session in the chamberafter he had been considering the statements of the two prosecutors, Lejla Kadriu Marija Gjorgjeva and Janeva’s statement.
“At today’s meeting we made the conclusion that in the present case of Katica Janeva, she violated two laws. In an unprecedented and brutal way, she did no just remove them, she threw the two Prosecutors out, without conducting a procedure to adopt such a decision” said Mr Anevski.
At the next session, more members of the Council wanted to the review the case and uncover the reasons for the reduction in the workload at the Special Prosecutor’s Office and then they will decide the fate of the two expelled prosecutors.
