The President of the Parliament, Talat Xhaferri and the General Secretary Cvetanka Ivanova have met today with the US Ambassador Jess Baily, which was also attended by the newly appointed director of USAID’s office in Macedonia, Gretchen Birkle.
At the meeting, they discussed the cooperation between the Parliament and the USAID such as the projects that were accomplished through the National Democratic Institute (NDI) that are supporting the Parliament’s work through programs that are financed by this organization – informs the press service.
President Xhaferi has expressed his gratitude for the ongoing cooperation and support and has stressed that the Parliament is open for cooperation with our strategic partners.
The attendees have agreed that there are results from the cooperation and have concluded that there is a mutual interest, will, and room for the cooperation to continue and be promoted in the future.
