At today’s session, the Government confirmed what directions will be taken for the implementation of urgent reform priorities for the Euro-Atlantic integration of Macedonia.
“From tomorrow, working groups from various levels of Government will begin defining a set of measures for a 3 month short-term plan, as well as a medium-term plan of 6 and 9 for the implementation of key reform priorities, for the realization of the key reform priorities for the country. We are talking about a document, a Roadmap, with defined responsibilities of the government regarding the reform process which is important for Euro-Atlantic integration”, said a statement by the Governments
In light of yesterdays recommendation by the Secretary General of NATO, the Government found it necessary to work on providing professional institutions, rule of law, conditions for objective functioning of the media, anti-corruption measures. It is also ascertained the need for security and defense reforms, in order to truly modernize and professionalize the arm.
