Mickoski complained to Hahn about the lack of progress in the reform process and called for a consensus on the name dispute

-

Today, the leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski met with EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn in Brussels, where they discussed the reform processes in the country, which “despite the Government’s promises, there is still no substantial progress” especially in key areas, such as the economy, the judiciary and the rule of law.

“We talked about the reforms and the reform processes that should be happening in the Republic of Macedonia, but unfortunately their situation is at a standstill. In one word, we offered all of our human and administrative potential as VMRO-DPMNE, so that we can contribute and give value to what has been said, and that is the possible faster integration of the Republic of Macedonia within the European Union”, said Mickoski after the meeting.

Mickoski met European Commissioner Hahn at a meeting in the MP’s Clubhouse during the political peak. He said they had seen the proposal of mediator Matthew Nimetz “who is more or less well known to the general public”.
