Today political parties started their campaigns for parliamentary elections scheduled for December 11, 2016.
On television from this morning propaganda videos started up and portals have already uploaded banners from the parliamentary lists.
VMRO-DPMNE and VMRO for Macedonia will start their campaign trails in Ohrid, SDSM in Ohrid and DUI in Lipkovo.
VMRO for Macedonia will begin their campaign from tomorrow, November 22, because in Ohrid today, there will be a VMRO-DPMNE rally.
The ruling party announced an intensive and expensive campaign that will include various segments.
“We will hold rallies, and we will meet with citizens. The campaign will run through electronic and print media and through videos”, said Ivo Kotevski, Director of the Center for Communications of VMRO-DPMNE.
SDSM said that their campaign will be a standard one – during the day they will meet with citizens, and at night they will hold rallies.
“We will be holding a standard campaign with many meetings with citizens, which will be intensive and we want to reach all the people”, say the opposition.
Yesterday, DUI held a convention in the “Boris Trajkovski” sports centre and promoted their candidates. Their official campaign will start tomorrow from Lipkovo.
“The campaign will start from November 22, Tuesday, probably from Lipkovo. It will be combined with rallies, outside and inside and we will have a caravan which will visit citizens at their places of residence”, announced Artan Grubi from DUI.
The Coalition for Change and Justice campaign begins today at the “Continental” hotel in Skopje.
The election campaign ends on December 9, 2016 at midnight.
Yesterday political parties signed a code of conduct for fair and democratic elections in accordance with provisions of the Electoral Code.
