Today is a great day for democracy and the freedom in Republic of Macedonia, a day when the citizens will choose either prolonging or encircling the changes in our country, said SDSM’s party leader and Prime MInister, Zoran Zaev, after he voted at the local elections in his native city of Strumica, at the voting station 1730, at the primary school “Nikola Vapcarov.”
AFter the voting, Zaev said that the citizens will use their constitutional right and will circle Euro-Atlantic integrations for Macedonia, a society for everyone in Macedonia, economically developed municipalities and a developed economic state.
-I hope that because of the importance of the local elections and the big importance of the municipalities in Republic of Macedonia, the whole day will be in accordance with the seriousness of these local elections. ABove all, I hope for fair and democratic elections and only in that way we all win in Macedonia. In the end, through our vote, through the percentage of voters turnover and the future growth and development of all our municipalities in our country. I wish the citizens this evening to feel like winners – said Zaev.
