SDSM leader Zoran Zaev today appeared before the prosecutor for organized crime on a hearing for the case “Puch”, in which he is the fourth accused of organized crime. Zaev declined to comment on today’s hearing out of, as he said, respect for the procedure.
In response to a reporter’s question, Zaev announced criminal charges for offering bribe. He claims that one year someone was trying to frame him by offering money and that it was a designed set-up.
– They are trying to frame me for a year and more. They are trying to do so in various ways. I am preparing criminal charges, which will be submitted by me, for meaningful offering bribe and meaningful bargaining for fixing bribe. If there was fixing by giving money, it would have certainly been published by, I wouldn’t call them state authorities anymore, but party organs – said Zaev.
On yesterday’s forum of SDSM, Zaev announced the name of the man who, according to him, cooperated with authorities and trying to set him up. He is Ivo Sachivaliev of Strumica, owner of Strumica can factory.
