Wizz Air cancels all flights to Italy following restrictive measures introduced by Italian authorities

-

Wizz Air announced that starting from today it will suspend all flights to Italy following the decision by the Italian Prime Minister in order to help control the coronavirus spread in the country.

“All Wizz Air’s flights to destinations in Italy have been cancelled. All of those who have booked directly at wizzair’s website or their mobile application will receive a notification in their mail box where they will be offered to renew their reservations for free, a free reimbursement or 120 % reimbursement in wizzair credits. All passengers who booked their flights through tourist agencies will have to get in touch with the company where they have purchased their tickets” said the press release.

The Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announced last night that the whole country is in a red phase and that all schools, sports halls, museums, night clubs and other locations will be closed.
