President of Parliament Trajko Veljanoski will not assemble parliament, which is one of the conditions for the SDSM to attend the leaders’ meeting on Friday in Vienna.
“In connection to the SDSM leader, Zoran Zaev’s press conference, held on April 20, 2016, which, among other things, requested the convening of a plenary session of Parliament to postpone the elections of June 5, 2016, I want to I emphasize the following: in accordance with Article 63, paragraph 6 of the Constitution, and I quote: ” Parliament is dissolved if a majority of all the MPs decide upon it,” said Veljanoski’s statement.
In the context of this constitutional regulation, said in a the written response from Veljanoski, I would like to emphasize once more, that MPs from the eighth part of the Macedonian Parliament, such a decision has already been enacted by a substantial majority, ie the dissolution of Parliament.
