The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, will arrive in Macedonia tomorrow afternoon and visit for a few hours as part of her mini-tour of the Balkan countries.
Before the visit, Mogherini stated that her Balkan mini-tour is to ensure “the process of integration of these countries into the Union is irreversible.”
“For the European Union the work with the Western Balkans, a region in the heart of Europe, is a key priority. I work to see every single one of the Western Balkans partners move forward on the reform path, towards the European Union, to ensure the process is irreversible. Regional cooperation and good neighbourly relations remain essential in this context”, said Mogherini.
The High Representative of European diplomacy from today until March the 4th will visit Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and Macedonia. During that time, Mogherini will meet with political authorities, including representatives of governments, of political parties and of Parliaments.
