The Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev has given instructions on purchasing 100.000 doses of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.
“Last night I received information from the Health Minister Venko Filipche that we have a capacity, in accordance with concluded agreements and already purchased doses, to make an additional order of 100.000 doses of the next vaccine, which would boost the overall plan and we would not be left with a surplus of vaccines. To answer the question of whether I would order Sputnik V vaccines, I will say yes and I gave instructions for this purchase to be made,” said Zaev during his visit to Probishtip.
During this week the purchased Chinese vaccines from Sinofarm are expected to arrive.
