The popularity of French President Francois Hollande increased by record 21 percent. He previously was considered as the most unpopular president of France. According to data published by the institute “IFOP”, 40 percent of respondents support Hollande.
French Prime Minister Manuel Valls popularity has increased by 17 percent and now 61 percent of the French support him, which is more than when he was elected prime minister.
Positive reactions in France are due to everything these two leaders did and said after the terrorist attacks on French satirical weekly “Charlie Hebdo”.
Last week, Valls held a speech in the Parliament against extremism and intolerance which was greeted with cheers by the left and right-oriented parties of France.
