-

The last official proposal for the name of the United Nations mediator Matthew Nimetz, which was offered to Macedonia and Greece last year, was announced today by BIRN.
On the document which was discovered by BIRN, there is the date April 9, 2013, which coincides with the date of the meeting between the mediator and representatives of Macedonia and Greece in UN headquarters, after which it was announced that Nimetz presented a new proposal, writes BIRN.
“At the center of the document is the name Upper Republic of Macedonia, which coincides with the information reported in the period by Macedonian and Greek media, as well as the statement of the leader of DUI, Ali Ahmeti, that the proposal of Nimitz is based on that name,” is stated there.
A new round of name negotiations is scheduled for tomorrow in New York, where the mediator Nimetz will meet Vasko Naumovski and Adamantios Vassilakis.
